DM Training's aim is to work with organisations to help increase the skill development of employees to provide your team with the tools and knowledge to perform effectively. The Company uses its expertise to deliver training at all levels to various sectors including Hospitality & Tourism, Oil & Gas and Care Services, Statutory, Management Skills.
We offer a full funded vocational programme for hospitality for 16-19 year olds through the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme. There are also VQ's available in Customer Service and Management.
To support the industry we offer the Elementary and Intermediate Food Hygiene and HACCP Training. Skills training is high on the agenda as well and these can be delivered onsite to your team.

Consultancy: Over 30 years' experience of the tourism industry, in both public and private sectors, most recently providing practical, imaginative and effective marketing, product development and PR for a wide range of clients including individual tourism businesses and consortia. As a working Blue Badge tourist guide, Elma also meets our visitors and therefore has a unique insight into what they are looking for and how their expectations can be met - and exceeded. Specialities range from marketing planning and strategies to hands-on involvement including funding applications, devising adverts, websites and brochures, writing text, liaising with designers and printers and ensuring effective distribution of both hard copy and virtual print.
Tourist Guiding: Bespoke tours can be arranged by coach for groups of all sizes and also for individuals who are guided by car. Tour content always reflects the interests of the visitors themselves. Alternatively, Elma is also very happy to guide tours pre-arranged by tour- or coach operators.
Tours are always fun as well as informative!
Maximum length of tour: 1 day (consecutive days possible). Prices: £125 per half day; £200 per full day. Supplement for driver guiding by car, to cover fuel/car costs.
