Braemar Castle set to re-open

Braemar Castle, the historic Deeside landmark is to welcome its first visitors of the new season this Easter weekend.

It is the second year that Braemar Castle has been open to the public since a major restoration project began.The castle will open in a blaze of musket and cannon fire today as the Fraser’s Dragoons re-enact a 17th-century battle between the Covenanters and Royalists.
