Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms DMO Charter

When member businesses of Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms Destination Management Organisation sign up as DMO Partners they undertake that they will:

  • Provide the highest possible standards of facilities and service to all customers.
  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors to our area.
  • Provide visitors with accurate information that will enhance their enjoyment of our area.
  • Operate in a manner that is environmentally and socially sustainable and takes account of the need to protect and conserve our natural and built environment.
  • Train staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to meet and exceed the expectations of all visitors.
  • Respond to all visitor enquiries and complaints swiftly and courteously.
  • Investigate all visitor complaints and take appropriate action to address the cause of the complaint.
  • Work in partnership with other local companies and organisations to retain visitors in our area and encourage longer length of stay.
  • Refer visitors to other local businesses wherever possible and appropriate.
  • Participate in DMO research projects that will add to our knowledge and understanding of our visitors and inform development and marketing activities.
