Tourism businesses and organisations are invited to become Partners of Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms Destination Management Organisation (DMO).

How Do You Become A Partner Business?
-         You must sign up to a simple Charter that asks you to commit to providing the highest possible standards of facilities and service to all customers.
-         You must be a member of an appropriate nationally recognised Quality Assurance Scheme where one exists.
-          You pay a one-off joining fee of £100 (plus VAT) if you are below the VAT threshold, or £200 (plus VAT) if you are above the VAT threshold.
What Will You Get In Return?
As we develop our activities, Partner businesses will receive the following benefits.
-          Use of the Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms brand to support your own marketing activities.
-     Promotion on this website.
-         Opportunities to buy into further marketing opportunities such as enhanced website entries, joint advertising etc.
-          Opportunities to shape the future of local tourism by joining our Working Groups.
-           Information about training and skills development programmes.
-           Access to product knowledge development programmes for staff.
-           Access to an intranet containing market intelligence, news and other information.
-          Access to downloadable itineraries that will encourage longer visitor stay and business-to-  business referral.
-          Regular e-newsletters.
-          Opportunities to participate in and share the results of Visitor Surveys and Business Surveys.
-          Invitations to regular Business-to-Business meetings and events.
-          Lobbying support from the DMO.
-          The chance to be a key part of a drive to grow tourism in the area.

-          It’s an opportunity for local businesses and local people to work together to shape the future of their tourism industry.
-          It’s a genuine opportunity to grow tourism in the area, but action is needed. Doing nothing is not an option.

-          It will be a strong voice for local tourism ensuring that our area punches above its weight.
-          It has the active support of all key local public sector bodies.
-          It has funding in place that means that every £1 a private business invests in the DMO levers a further £6 from the public sector.

Deeside & the Cairngorms Ltd Charter

Partner businesses of Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms Destination Management Organisation undertake that they will -

1. Provide the highest possible standards of facilities and service to all customers.
2. Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors to our area.
3. Provide visitors with accurate information that will enhance their enjoyment of our area.
4. Operate in a manner that is environmentally and socially sustainable and takes account of the need to protect and conserve our natural and built environment.
5. Train staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to meet and exceed the expectations of all visitors.
6. Respond to all visitor enquiries and complaints swiftly and courteously.
7. Investigate all visitor complaints and take appropriate action to address the cause of the complaint.
8. Work in partnership with other local companies and organisations to retain visitors in our area and encourage longer length of stay.
9. Refer visitors to other local businesses wherever possible and appropriate.
10. Participate in DMO research projects that will add to our knowledge and understanding of our visitors and inform development and marketing activities.
