Ballater (RD) Ltd. was hatched out of a study into the development of rural economies commissioned by Scottish Enterprise and Aberdeenshire Council in 1996. The Balmoral Estate is the Scottish home to the British Royal Family. The estate is open to the public from April to the end of July each year.
