Lui Restaurant

At the Glen Lui Hotel the food is prepared using fresh local produce, with a traditional Scottish flavour. Balmoral Estate

The Balmoral Estate is the Scottish home to the British Royal Family. The estate is open to the public from April to the end of July each year. Osborne House is the home of Heather and Neil Allan which they opened to guests in July 2011. It is a pretty, Victorian house in a secluded location but close to the centre of Ballater village. The house has a large colonial style verandah overlooking the garden and is surrounded by greenery all sides. It is at the start of the Seven Bridges Walk which passes through oak woods and fields to a white pedestrian suspension bridge across the River Dee.
