Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms is unique in Scotland as it houses two of the UK's main snowsports centres within its area.

Glenshee Ski Centre to the south of Braemar boasts the UK's most extensive skiing and snowboarding facilities with 21 lifts and 36 runs. Instruction, tuition, equipment hire and catering are all available on-site. Full details can be found at www.ski-glenshee.co.uk.

The Lecht Ski Centre sits at over 2,000 feet in the north west of our area. It includes 20 ski runs as well as facilities for snowboarding and fun activities such as snowtubing. There is also great cross country skiing at Braemar and lessons can be booked.
